One scotch, one beer, together at last..

Once again my wonderful wifey proves she's well and truly full of surprises. At Xmas I unwrapped a four pack of Fig Jam which made the time off from work even more enjoyable. Just in time for Valentine's Day? She's taken my drinking vessels to a completely new level..

Looks like a Scotch bottle doesn't it? Well originally it was - one from my very own meagre supply. A bottle of J and B Rare, the choice of poison of dear old dad and something I toast him with yearly on his birthday.

However pop the top off this one and voila...

A magnificent Stein appears!

Now I have no idea yet if it makes any beer so much more classier (or more Scottish) but it looks incredible and matches perfectly with the one she treated herself with, the Jamieson special.

And considering we had these bottles for sentimental reasons, it's a fantastic way to reuse them.

Keen on one yourself? Check out the page at Handcrafted Steins and soy candles. Tell em Al is completely chuffed with the work on the J and B Rare bottle.

(Maybe you should show your better half this page and casually drop a hint or two about that spare bottle of almost empty hooch you have lying around in the cupboard and the fact that your special day isn't too far off?)

Thank you Donna, what a ripper suprise!
