Oettinger - Enjoy it while stomping spiders..

Weekend work shift done, dinner finished, kids put to bed - time for a quick 500ml trip to Germany while we...mash some spiders in our dungeon?


Wait what?

Yeah I've been playing Dungeons 2. Quite a bit. And while renovating your dungeon to expand your brewery (I love the fact that the only thing your monsters eat of drink is barrels of dungeon brewed foamy beer)  occasionally you will run afoul of a nest of giant spiders.

It's nothing your orcs can't deal with however and usually after a good spider bashing, they like to refresh themselves with a quick trip to the brewhouse. Is there Oettinger there? Probably not. But the overlord of the place (me) is drinking it tonight so let's see what's going on here.

What can I smell here?: Beer with nothing really jumping out and punching me on the schnoz.

Initial thoughts: Nice looking head. Nice and smooth to drink, refreshing, slightly creamy mouth feel. It's basic but it works. Gulp able. Tasty after stomping arachnids.

Overall: I'll repeat that last line for maximum effect: It's basic, but it works. There's no particular highlight here, just a nice beer that's easy to drink and after 500mls you won't feel like you're ready for bed. You could do far worse.
