Lucky Buddha - hey that's a nice mantle ornament

Did you know that if you spray paint an empty bottle of Lucky Budda beer with a nice flat colour (a light grey or stone colour works well) you end up with a great mantle piece ornament and conversation starter? You won't be talking about the beer inside of it though, because that's terrible..

It's been quite some time between drinks when it comes to the happy bald man so I completely forgot how lacklustre this brew actually is. But while whipping up a tasty chicken korma, I suddenly remembered why it hasn't been on my list for a while.

What am I smelling here?: Dried grass and wet cardboard.

Initial thoughts: Blink and you'll miss the head completely fading away in an instant leaving a glass of what suspiciously looks like cloudy apple juice. On your first sip you'll get a big hit of sweetness. And the second, third and every sip thereafter. And that's all you get in a terrible attempt to mask the fact that there is absolutely nothing else going on in this beer. Oh dear.

Overall: It's sweet water in a nice bottle. But hey the bottle gets a point for being one of the funkiest bottles on the market...so with that one point added we get...

One of of five luke warm chicken kormas.

But hey, the bottle does make a good ornament..
